Terms & Conditions

Last updated: February 3, 2026

1. Scope

These terms govern access to the PAYJN website and, where incorporated into a commercial agreement, PAYJN's payment technology and operational support services. Specific service terms, pricing and responsibilities may be set out in separate written agreements.

2. Nature of services

PAYJN provides technical connectivity, transaction routing tools, reporting and operational coordination with relevant upstream payment providers. Available services vary by market, payment method, merchant profile and provider approval.

3. Third-party processing and custody

Payment transactions may be processed by third-party banks, payment institutions or other upstream service providers. Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, PAYJN does not act as a bank and does not hold or manage end-user funds. Processing outcomes and timing may depend on external systems.

4. Client responsibilities

  • Provide accurate business, technical and transaction information.
  • Maintain the security of credentials and authorized access.
  • Use the services only for lawful and approved business activities.
  • Comply with applicable laws, scheme rules and onboarding requirements.
  • Promptly report suspected fraud, security incidents or unauthorized use.

5. Prohibited activity

The services may not be used for fraudulent, deceptive, illegal or unauthorized activity, or in a manner that exposes PAYJN or its partners to unacceptable legal, regulatory, financial or reputational risk. Access may be restricted or suspended where such activity is suspected.

6. Transaction status

Transaction statuses reflect information available from relevant processing systems. Finality, reversals, disputes and settlement remain subject to provider rules, banking networks and applicable law.

7. Availability

We aim to provide reliable services but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, provider outages, regulatory changes, force majeure events and external network conditions may affect service performance.

8. Intellectual property

PAYJN and its licensors retain ownership of the website, platform, documentation, trademarks and related intellectual property. No rights are transferred except for limited use expressly authorized under an applicable agreement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PAYJN is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for delays and failures caused by upstream providers, banks, third-party systems or inaccurate client information. Contract-specific liability terms may apply under a separate written agreement.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest website version will be published on this page. Material service changes will be handled in accordance with applicable commercial agreements.
